There are snakes lurking in the grass

This is my coat " There are snakes lurking in the grass.

I won  1st place Clothing  in the Hoffman Challenge 2013, Hurray!!

The Challenge fabric made me think of the tiles of a garden path.

I surrounded the path with a lot of foliage in blues and greens from which the snakes slither onto the path.

I used the Challenge fabric, commercial cotton and silk to create this piece with lots of FMQ.
