Ik heb een aantal kalenders laten maken voor 2013 ( Beperkte oplage van 20) 

Met 13 foto's van details van mijn werk

hij bestaat uit een A4 foto

 en een kalenderblad per maand. 

De kalender kost € 10, als je hem komt halen 

verpakking en verzenden € 3,50 onverzekerd 

€ 8,50 verzekerd

Dandelions and Dragonflies

This is the last part of the photoshoot.

As this is a cozy Winter coat, I saved this a little longer.

Inspiration:

'Dandelion seeds and Dragonflies, both as light as air, carried by the wind for long distances, so fragile, yet so strong' 

This fabric actually was a fleece blanket we were given as a Christmas gift by our employer one year.

One of my colleagues generously gave me hers as well, when she heard about my plan to use it for a coat.

The dandelions were the result of a mandala drawing based on sound waves, when I had finished it, I thought it resembled a dandelion.

polyester fleece, wool, cotton, silk

machine-needle felting, thread painting, appliquée, water-soluble fabric.

( Not all) Roses are red

My cloak ( Not all ) Roses are red will be a traveler in the Hoffman Challenge 2012, clothing and accessories trunk A.
It will be in quilt shows and exhibitions in the USA for a year.

My inspiration was the story of Doornroosje, Sleeping Beauty.
I envisioned the walls of her castle, overgrown with roses and other flowers.
I even added a broken window.
