a visit to TRC Leiden

Last Saturday I went to the Quilter's Guild regional meeting in Zuid -Holland.
There we met this fabulous lady, Dr Gillian Vogelsang-Eastwood, who gave a fantastic hands-on lecture about headdress .

She also told us about TRC , the Textile Research Centre , in Leiden, Netherlands and the current exhibition:

We went to visit the exhibition, It's great to see how old traditional crafts are mixed with new materials.
