Midsummernightsdream

This is my coat Midsummernightsdream.
I won 3rd prize Wearable Art at La Conner quilt Festival 2015 and
1st prize Clothing in the 2014 Hoffmann Challenge. Hurray!!

Besides the Challenge fabric I used some of the coordinating fabrics and a lot of black fabric.

I added butterflies and larger flowers. For those I used flowers from an earlier Challenge fabric and painted them over with fabric paints to match the colours of this year's fabric.

For the lining I chose Pink satin.
